Saving Findlay Finch
I am very pleased to have met these characters. I was a little misled by the premise and believed it would be a type of Clue murder mystery, with fantastic weird characters facing their own deaths, and that DOES actually happen, but only a lot later in the novel. In the meantime, I was given a very generous treat of humans at their most eccentric and strange, with plenty of twists that not only lit up the page, but made me fall deep into it. I won't give away anything more, here, but I will recommend this novel to anyone who loves great characterization and screwy modern mysteries.Merged review:
