The Wasp Factory - Iain Banks I've been reading his science fiction and wanted to see what he accomplishes by his traditional fiction. I'm happy to say that I really enjoyed the flow and warp of this disturbing little anti-hero. Its all a perfectly valid little metaphor for the unconscious and an angry disgust at the whole notion of sexual identity. Maybe I'm used to disturbing ideas in literature, but more likely, I've just known a lot of disturbed people, and knowing psychology just inoculates me to the inherent pain of humanity.
Great book, and a great little dive into the depth.
